In a tranquil position and yet in the middle of the idyllic village centre. The Neuwirthof is located at the entrance to the active paradise Valle di Anterselva.
A house with history and a very special charm.

 

In our sunny flats in Rasun, you can expect wonderful views, lots of nature and local ambience.

A cosy terrace invites you to stay a little longer. On cosy summer evenings, you can admire the starry sky from here. In the evening, you have a view of the legendary castle ruins of Rasun Vecchia. A beautiful footpath, the historic Kirchsteig, as the locals call it, leads from the Neuwirthof to the village centre. Restaurants, pizzeria, pharmacy and various shops are in the immediate vicinity.

Our farm

The Neuwirthof was first mentioned in 1615. It has been owned by the family since 1933. Once run as a typical country inn, it is now a livestock farm that supplies fresh milk to households in the surrounding area via the local alpine dairy.

 

Another product of our farm are its tasty Puschtra Erdepfl (potatoes) of the “Ditta” type.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Neuwirthof! Working with animals and in the great outdoors has always been a lot of fun for me and finally became my profession. I appreciate a nice chat with my guests. You hear many new stories and guests often become friends.

 

If you have any special wishes for the perfect stay, please feel free to contact me. When I’m not at the farm, you can find me out in the field or with my family. You can also reach me by phone.

 

If you have good ears, you can hear me making music on one of my instruments from time to time.

Payment methods: Cash payment or bank transfer during the stay.

Pets are welcome by arrangement. We charge € 8.00 per day without food.

Deposit & cancellation policy

  • Cancellation is free of charge until 30 days before the arrival date. Only the deposit will be retained.
  • Cancellation no later than 14 days before the arrival date: 40% of the agreed total price.
  • In case of cancellation less than 14 days before the arrival date: 80 % of the agreed total price.
  • In case of no-show or early departure: 100 % of the agreed total price.

Holiday pass

As a guest of the Neuwirthof, you receive the Holiday Pass, which entitles you to free use of all public transport throughout South Tyrol. There are also discounts on admission to museums and leisure facilities and you can take part in the Kron Aktiv programme free of charge.

Whether it's a museum visit and a climbing tour or cross-country skiing and snowshoe hiking - in summer and winter there are all kinds of things to discover with the Holidaypass.

Your journey ...

In Rasun di Sotto, drive to the church. The Neuwirthof is 50 m further on the left-hand side. There are plenty of parking spaces.

 

Car-free holidays made easy: the bus stops are in the immediate vicinity of the farm - the buses are well coordinated with the train timetable: The bus takes you from Rasun to the Valdaora railway station and from there through Val Pusteria and all of South Tyrol.
